Let us know which class you are interested in and we will customize a program just for you and your students. The Science of Sound - Let us come in and introduce the science unit on sound. We will discuss frequency, vibrations, amplification, waves, harmonics, etc. The Mathematics of Rhythm - Whole notes divided in half become half notes. Whole notes broken into fours become quarter notes. Quarters in half become eighth notes and so forth. Let us come in and explain how numbers make up music. How to Relax - In order to play an instrument one must learn how to control their own body in order to control the instrument they want play. Let us come in and work with children that tend to be very tense and rigid, teaching relaxation techniques coupled with body conscious exercises. The Language of Music - From beginning to end we use musical terminology to communicate with students saying things like "I'm sorry that was way too forte could you decrescendo a bit and repeat that" or "this is a solo exercise so everyone should be tacet right now."
